Yappa – Argentinian Polo Pony 15.1hh
Yappa and her friend Cuckoo (retired) belong to our Katie who lives and works at Pine Lodge. A genuine Argentinian import, Yappa previously lived in Oxford with Katie where she played polo regularly and Katie says “don’t let the donkey ears fool” as you can see from the polo picture, Yappa clearly has the speed and agility to match any thoroughbred.
Yappa has a slightly nervous disposition on the ground but loves riding out and has a heart of gold. She is very responsive to aids which means she is only suitable for experienced riders but she enjoys being out on the moor and often leads our popular day rides. Yappa lives out with her bay bestie Cuckoo (pictured) and American Quarter Horse, Ethan.
