Minnie – Dartmoor Hill Pony 13.1hh
Minnie and her friend Lucie joined us at the start of the summer. Minnie is very much like our favourite Pine Lodge pocket rocket, Freckles. Forward and fast, but safe. She came from a family home where she was showing and jumping and has been very popular for jumping and gymkhana with out children’s riding holiday guests this year.
Minnie has striking skewbald markings and like Lucie, one blue eye and one brown. Both mares have integrated well with the rest of the gang in our pony field. On rides, she keeps pace with the bigger horses and has enjoyed exploring our varied Exmoor terrain and day rides to Tarr Steps, taking everything in her stride without any fuss.
