No, you’re not seeing things, most of us expect an Appaloosa horse to have spots, but they actually come in a variety of 13 different coat colours and not all of these are spotty.
Our lovely bay boy Skipper arrived here at the same time as Bracey in 2021. They were turned out together and immediately became the best of friends. Being a similar size and pace they are also great to ride out with as a pair as they enjoy walking together, enabling their riders to keep a conversation going easily as they explore Exmoor.
Skipper is an incredibly well-mannered horse and has gained a lot of fans since he arrived at Pine Lodge.
