Freckles – Cob 13.2hh
Emily’s favourite girl and pocket rocket, Freckles is one of our prettiest ponies and a really unusual strawberry roan colour with a long flowing mane. Being cob cross means she is suitable for both experienced children and lighter adults too. Freckles is mother to Chevy, Pine Lodge’s very own trainee unicorn and she is well loved by her regular riders and those who come to stay on our children’s riding holidays.
Freckles’ long flowing mane make her a great candidate for plaiting practice and we often plait it just to keep it out of the way of the reins when she is being ridden. She has a great temperament but can sometimes be a bit cheeky and she likes to keep up with the big boys during a canter.
