Children's Riding Holiday Itinerary

Riding holidays at Pine Lodge Riding holidays at Pine Lodge

Unaccompanied children’s riding holidays at Pine Lodge – Make friends for life on our ultimate ‘own a pony’ experience!

Children's Riding Holidays are for one week or half a week. Full week children's riding holidays run from Sunday Afternoon until Saturday afternoon. Half week holidays run from Sunday Afternoon until Wednesday morning or Wednesday Afternoon until Saturday morning.

Here is an example itinerary of the sort of thing you can expect from a typical children's riding holiday week at Pine Lodge. You will ride every day and have two day rides - where you get to ride all day and stop for lunch en route. We have a gymkhana, quizzes and a tack and turnout competition - plus a chance to compete in local shows if there are any on when you are staying. Rides vary depending on weather and rider experience, but will include some roadwork, riding through pine forest and ancient oak woodland, over moorland, through farm fields and crossing the sparkling river Barle.

Children will have opportunities to visit our local town Dulverton to buy souvenirs and free time in the evenings to play games, watch films and enjoy one of Bobbie's famous mugs of hot chocolate in the cosy farmhouse lounge.
